What You will Do
- Support the execution of new product development projects.
- Developing new design, 3D models of prototype components, assemblies, and test fixtures using SolidWorks.
- Performing engineering design calculations.
- Authoring and executing product validation test procedures.
- Documenting results through formal test reports.
- Creating design calculators to support engineering analysis.
What You Will Bring
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with all design engineering calculation (preferred but not required).
- Background in electro-mechanical systems (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with product development testing (preferred).
- Ability to work semi-autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Skills
- Skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline, and 5-8 years of related experience.
- Proficient with SolidWorks and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to learn.
- Proficient in self-management within a team environment.
