What You will Do

  • Support the execution of new product development projects.
  • Developing new design, 3D models of prototype components, assemblies, and test fixtures using SolidWorks.
  • Performing engineering design calculations.
  • Authoring and executing product validation test procedures.
  • Documenting results through formal test reports.
  • Creating design calculators to support engineering analysis.

What You Will Bring

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with all design engineering calculation (preferred but not required).
  • Background in electro-mechanical systems (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with product development testing (preferred).
  • Ability to work semi-autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills

  • Skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline, and 5-8 years of related experience.
  • Proficient with SolidWorks and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Proficient in self-management within a team environment.
  • Time Management: ability to allocate time efficiently, set priorities, and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
